Taken over by the current owner in 2017, Charleston House underwent refurbishment to turn it into the boutique guest house it is today, ensuring a unique warmth of hospitality within its gorgeous location, and complemented by an eclectic art collection throughout.

The building is one of the oldest in the area and listed by Historic Scotland as an important example of vernacular construction of the period, yet has come on some way since it was originally built in 1776, to include the modern comforts we have all come to expect, whilst maintaining the welcoming character. The original owner, a fish merchant from the East Coast, was the namesake of the house, as well as the immediate area.
We are constantly evolving and striving to ensure you have a truly memorable experience.
