Situated on the ever-popular North Coast 500 route (NC500), Charleston House is straightforward to find, however the stunning scenery we are surrounded by does not always lend itself to a perfect mobile phone signal and so we do not recommend is relied upon to find us; the below directions should help to ensure a smooth journey.
Our postcode is IV21 2AH, and we are around 65 miles from Inverness (typically less than 1.5 hour drive).
Travelling from the south / east (North Coast 500 clockwise)
From Inverness simply follow signs to Ullapool. Just after the village of Garve turn left on to the A832 to Achnasheen and continue on the A832 for around 45 miles, following signs to Gairloch which will take you directly into the village. Charleston Road is the first left turning once you enter Gairloch (if you see the harbour on your left, you have gone too far), and Charleston House is then the first property you come to, straight ahead of you.
Travelling from the north / west (North Coast 500 anti-clockwise)
Follow the A832 signs from Braemore through Dundonnell, Aultbea and Poolewe. Once you have been through Gairloch village, the harbour will be on your right. Charleston Road is the first right turning once you have passed the harbor, and Charleston House is then the first property you come to, straight ahead of you.
